Jermel stands at an all-important crossroads, where all his grades and the decision to go to college or take a gap year will determine what interests and goals he may have in mind. To outline strategies and interventions that could be used to support Jermel’s career plan considering his unique circumstances and aspirations, Hill and O’Brien’s (1999) Helping Skills Model is applied.         Communication Barriers: Complete Loss of Speech       Student name Institution Instructor name Course name Date due     Communication Barriers: Complete Loss of Speech Communication being a critical part of human life means that any barriers that can hinder the exchange of information make it difficult for people to share their thoughts, ideas, or other details with others whether in the workplace or learning institutions (Salamondra, 2021). The barrier chosen for this discussion is complete loss of speech or aphasia as it is scientifically known (Le & Lui, 2023). Complete loss of speech is a critical barrier that can prevent individuals from communicating with others, underscoring the need to overcome the problem. Introduction The law relating to charitable purposes in the context of political organizing has been a subject of debate (Parachin, 2004). The underlying basis of political tasks is governance and authority; however, charitable organizations are based on social responsibility. However, times come when unified effort is required to address issues like public awareness or handle the impact of political instability. According to Anheier and Toepler (2020), UK laws on charity organizations limit their engagement in political advocacy. However, the extent of any involvement must maintain charitable neutrality. For instance, registered organizations can advocate their goals to the limit that they cannot provide endorsements of political division. With dynamics in the political, social, and economic environment, there is a need for these laws to be rethought. That is, expand the scope of charitable organizations for more excellent advocacy, public disclosure, and better policy introduction. This essay looks at the benefits benefits, arguments against, and the balancing point of these policy changes. Strengths One of the significant impacts of the involvement is the more critical social impact (Cage & Guillot, 2021). That…

BUSN336 WK 7 DISCUSSION One key strategic element of the project paper is integrating technology alongside innovation into the business strategy. The project delves into the dynamic relationship between creativity, innovation, along with technology, stressing the need for organizations to leverage these elements for success in the modern business era. This strategic element conforms to the broader objective of guiding organizations in navigating the evolving landscape of contemporary business. In line with the risk management, two areas related to the proposed digital strategy can be noted: Data Security and Privacy: As the digital strategy grossly relies on technologies such as Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and the Internet of Things, ensuring robust data security alongside privacy measures is paramount. Integrating these technologies entails handling huge amounts of critical information, and any breach could have acute consequences. The project needs to include a robust risk management plan addressing possible cyber threats and data breaches, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations (Daraojimba et al., 2023). Strategies such as encryption, regular security audits, and employee training on cybersecurity practices…

Business Ethics and Corporate Governance: A Comprehensive Analysis   Student Course Institution Affiliation Professor Date     Business Ethics and Corporate Governance: A Comprehensive Analysis PRINCIPLE Business ethics and corporate governance are the underlying principles by which business people keep themselves on track or become wayward. These standards set a code of morality, guiding the right business behaviour course (Lawrence et al., 2023). As a fundamental concept, business ethics involves carrying out business operations with steadfast integrity, straightforwardness, and fairness, looking past mere adherence to set laws to promote higher principles of ethics. Ethical standards of organizations make approved environments and beliefs among stakeholders and bring trust and credibility among them, consequently leading to long-term connections based on respect and openness. Ethics in business implies an observant and mindful understanding of the whole spectrum of societal effects associated with corporate enterprises and actions in light of the ingrained connection between the business sector and society at large (Lawrence et al., 2023). Black Catholics need to be “Authentically Black and Truly Catholic because it embraces their culture as Black Americans as well as following the teachings of the Catholic Church. This duality came under strong study in the late 1960s by a group of Black Catholic protesters who ignited a revolution in the U.S. Catholic Church. The efforts were to end the racial injustice in the American Catholic Church. Being ‘Authentically black’ involves practising African cultural values as real black in the community. Black Americans have been facing racial discrimination by white Americans in the American Catholic Church. Being ‘Authentically black’ helps express and dramatise Black Catholics’ faith in a way that reflects their culture’s beliefs and traditional values. It also enables black Americans to embrace their culture and protect their rights. Also, ‘Authentically black’ condemns social injustices that happen to black people in society, such as police brutality. Therefore, Black Catholics need to be ‘Authentically black’ so that they can embrace the cultural values and fight for their rights in the Catholic Church and the community as a whole. Being ‘Truly…

Analysis/Journal- Liberal Feminist Theory The lecture probes into the subtle terrain of liberal feminism, exploring its history in great detail, highlighting significant individuals and revealing how these principles have changed over time. It is in this analysis that a common thread appears – the dialectic between classical and equalizing tendencies of liberal feminism (Mironesco, 2022). This exploration highlights their unique perspectives on individualism, autonomy and the broader sphere of societal transformation. The discourse cleverly shifts through the Enlightenment beginnings of liberal feminism leading to reflections on post-Civil War confusions and the later creation of suffrage associations. The narrative is also deepened with the stories of Betty Friedan’s defining role in the 1960s and arguments from feminist critics such as Alison Jaggar and Jean Bethke Elshtain, all about their theoretical dimensions and consequences on liberal feminism. The lectures carefully review the historical situation in which liberal feminism originated, seeing its origins rooted in ideas as far back as the 18th century Enlightenment. The narrative deals well with the intricacies of the women’s suffrage movement in particular, as seen from a post-Civil War…

Reflexive Critique During the first few sessions of the social work course, I became aware of Afro-Pessimism, which became an essential issue. Its significant implications for comprehending the systemic and historical injustices Black people suffer give it its unique resonance (Slaby, 2020). This issue caught my attention because it goes beyond popular tales to reveal racial injustice’s structural, deeply ingrained essence. In my experience, it forces one to critically examine oneself, questioning assumptions and advocating for the process of unlearning. I have learned from this investigation to see racism as a persistent result of past dehumanization rather than just through the prism of isolated incidents (Maiese, 2020). In the future, I plan to actively collaborate with groups devoted to ending systemic dehumanization, advocate for inclusive legislation, engage in ongoing education, and confront the issues brought up by Afro-Pessimism in social work. This all-encompassing strategy highlights the transformative potential of incorporating Afro-Pessimism into social work practice and is consistent with social justice concepts. Afro-Pessimism’s tremendous impact on personal importance, experiences, learning, and social work practice must be critically examined. Afro-Pessimism: A…
