Moreover, the use of mixed methods has made the study solutions to be given in numbers and words, unlike the use of a single line of research. The methods have provided a provision to acquiring more research tools used in the collection of more data, hence an analysis of comprehensive data (Bressan, 2017). The use of mixed methods has brought about the production of a stronger study in the area of nursing than the use of a single study design. The use of mixed methods brings about an increase in exploration in the analysis of study data. Also, the uses of the methods have called on the combination of reasoning from the researchers in the quantitative area and those in the qualitative area, such as the use in the PMCH evaluations.
Disadvantages
Search mixed methods have brought a lot of time consumption in trying to find solutions in the nursing field. Besides, the use of the methods in nursing research requires the researchers to be more conversant with the design methods that are in use. The use of mixed methods requires the data to be presented in a more precise manner, which is more comprehensive and easy to easily understand the information.
