A successful project consists of talented team members. The development of the project becomes successful when every team performs its functionalities. In this project, we have the project manager and project team manager. The project manager plays the most significant role in ensuring the development is done well and finished within the time frame. The project manager provides sufficient resources required for the project, recruits the project team members, and assigns a task to team members.
Roles of project team members
Interface designers; Participate in designing the interface of the project. The project development should conform with the overall objective created by the interface designer. Skills required are Business skills, rapid prototyping, participatory designing skills, and communication skills. They are responsible for interface documentation. A working experience of 4 years is required and the salary expectation of shs50,000
Back-end designers; are responsible for designing the back end of the system, the system database. They do integration the system with the front-end product. They are responsible for documenting the back end of a system. The skills required are PHP, SQL, communication, and java. A working experience of 5 years is required and the salary expectation of shs100,000
The integration team will integrate the developed system to work in all platforms, including Android, to access the information through the phone. The integration team will also incorporate the new system and the existing corporate system so that information is captured in every operation. Skills required database management skills, android developer, SQL, and PHP. A working experience of 6 years is required and the salary expectation of shs100,000
Testing team; The team is responsible for testing the usability of the developed system. The results from testing and analysis of the new system are submitted to the developing unit. They come up with testing designs, cases, and processes. The software required for testing is a Beta tester. A working experience of 10 years is required and the salary expectation of shs150,000.
development platform
The development platform for this project is based on the Epson CRM. It is a web application that is open source. It helps in entering, viewing, and evaluating contacts in some organizations. It provides a platform to operate the projects, companies, people information in a single entity. It is used because it allows for information customized information that suits a type of business. Also, it provides tools that enable workflow hence making operations and processes for analyzing and making reports on sales performances. The customer’s information can be viewed, making it accessible in organizing and responding to customers’ needs. Customers mails cab tracked from ant geographical location and employees can view operations at ago. Campaigns on products and marketing of services are well organized; therefore, appointments base on the information can be scheduled.
Distribution of tasks and subtasks related to development process over multiple geographic locations
California state. Stores in this state will be assigned planning; this is developing the problem’s scope and a solution the time, costs, benefits, and any other terms are determined.
Texas state: Stores running under this state will be assigned system analysis and requirements. Functional requirements of the system are determined, and the users’ needs are put into consideration.
Florida: The stores will do system design under this state. Here the specifications, operations, and features about functional requirements are identified.;
New York; The project’s actual development will be done in the store’s presence in Network city. It is the starting phase of production.
Pennsylvania; in this state, stores that are available here will be assigned integration and testing. The developed system will be integrated with the corporate application and tested to determine if the developed systems meet the targeted goals.
Illinois; Implementation is designed for this state. The developed project is put into production by moving data from the old system and using the new system.
Ohio; Operation and maintenances are assigned to the stores in this city. Users are required to provide feedback such that system performance is boosted or additional functionalities are added
change management process
The change management process is the activities sequences in a project that enables transition in a project and determine whether the outcomes are met. The following are the processes for change in a project;
Readiness assessments. The project manager will use tools to check whether the organization is ready for change. It can be assessed of the employees, history, and culture of an organization, and others. This provides challenges and opportunities insights to the development team. Evaluate the changing scope; this determines if the change is gradual or radical, how the changing size will be and how the people will be affected. Assessing organization readiness: this is the process of determining the resistance that should be expected, the strength of the management team for a change, how the background and the system value are impacted, and what difference has already taken place.
Planning communication and communicating; the project manager needs to speak to the employees by creating awareness for change and insight the employees to desire for the same modifications. A communication plan is designed in a manner that addresses needs for change and shared among the employees.
Sponsoring roadmaps and activities; Change management team is responsible for developing a plan for sponsor activities used by leaders in an organization. This in sighting the top management to sponsor the changes in the project.
Training of managers by change management team by providing training and guiding them through the changes and available tools. This is because managers are the core influencers to the employees.
software testing solution
Alpha Beta tool is going to be used in testing. The version of the new system will be released to some of the end-users, which are the employees. It is performed at the end of the end-user. Robustness and reliability are checked during this process. The testing is said to be real-time because the software is available to the public. Feedback is collected and will be used in the future to implement the new version of the product. It concentrates much on product quality and real-time readiness.
Methods to control the quality of work.
These are strategies that ensure that there are improvements and Maintainance of a quality of a product. The processes involve testing periodically of the item and training employees and creating standard quality measures. It gives a guarantee that the end product fulfills the consumer’s need. The first control is about Inspection control. The organization is required to perform visual and testing on the manufacturing processes and output of production. Here there is the inspection of products, process inspection, and analysis inspection. Statistical control is about the utilization of probability and sampling measures to maintain quality. There are sapling acceptance and analysis, control process and chart control, and correctness measures. This will improve customer gain to a company, promote product safety, increase the number of loyal customers, and positively enhance product branding.
methods of closing a project
Executing the project deliverables is project closure. This ensures that all the development teams are on the same page and the end which are loose are tied up. (Degenhardt et al., 2017). The documentation is approved by signing, and the contractors are given their payment, and project success is evaluated. The process of project closure ensures that the project is complicated according to the scope and plan. It helps to reduce mistakes when dealing with a future project, avoid liabilities from payments that are not completed, and avoid failure to identify who will maintain the project after that. The following steps are used in closing the project: transferring of deliverables formally, project completion confirmation, documentation and contract reviewing, resource release, reviewing of the project, archiving the documentation, and lastly, celebrating the accomplishment.
