Introduction

Children’s enthusiasm is linked to their ability to be self-directed and make effective learning decisions. Having good options allows children to feel motivated and in control. Parents can consider creating responsible and independent students through the use of proper student choices. Allowing children to choose subjects that concern them increases their innate curiosity and need to learn. On the other hand, providing options is more beneficial in situations where children are assisted individually by others in loving and demanding learning groups. Children are more likely to acquire the skills required to be effective lifelong learners in these environments and knowledge climates. In inquiry-based learning settings, children are motivated to engage collaboratively with their instructors to discover responses to their concerns, which stimulates interest. Choices empower even small children to understand how to take care of their learning, which aids in developing a sense of duty and self-motivation in children.

Definition of the Problem

The main problem identified in the scenario is that the parent has an issue believing her child’s capability. The parent is concerned about helping her child to do the project. The reason for her to help her child do the assignment is to ensure that she achieves a genuine grade. Considerably the parent is comparing how other parents help their children, so she encourages herself to help the child do the project. However, by helping the child do the assignment, the parent destroys the child’s morale and lowers her thinking capacity (Kazdin 1). The child will grow to know that her parent will help her do the assignment in every project. Parents helping their children do their projects is a bad idea because it will impose a question: Have I helped the child? Can she complete the project by herself? it will impact the child negatively

Problem Analyzing

By the parent classifying how the problem’s impact will impact their children, they can easily get to know the problem.  The parent helping the child is not all that bad idea; this will help the parent determine if she is helping her daughter academically or destroy her overall grade. If she goes by helping her child, the child might not learn to do the project by herself. By this, she will lack confidence in her abilities. Encouraging my daughter to do the project by herself is the best thing I can do (Kazdin 1). By this, I will help her boost her ability to research, and she will also gain research skills that will help her solve the assignments given

Analyzing the Solution

By involving my child in setting her objectives in participating indecision about how to individualize objectives in her curriculum standards, it will be helpful because she will have her collection concerning her choices and interests. By defining her own learning goals and objectives, she can now comfortably do the project and score a good grade (Khoiriyah 2).                  Evaluation

I will also consider that to help her deal with the inevitable disappointment that comes when she does not know to perform this is by showing her the best strategies by using her previous mistake as learning opportunities and controlling the negative emotions that can interfere with the project. Another thing is to make sure that she comes up with a designed timetable of her choice that will help her revise from the previous projects, and she will be able to make an own project without my help. By this, it will her make ware about her own needs and aspirations (Khoiriyah 2). The choice is not effective unless she develops the capacity to choose what best meets her personal goals. I should also build her confidence in her ability to learn as the central role of literacy instruction of struggling. She should also know exactly what is expected of her, how she will be graded; in this case, I will be able to encourage my daughter how she accesses her progress of learning by keeping journals to evaluate the progress she is making as she acquires relevant skills and knowledge. By this, she will be fine to do the project independently and perform well in the whole project.

The Best Option for Solving the Problem

I will encourage my daughter to do her project by herself despite other parents helping their children do their projects, and in the end, they will end up scoring a false grade in the project. The best thing that I might consider is advising her she can still do it, and she will score a good grade when she develops good skills for researching (Khoiriyah 2). By doing this, I will be able to unplug the sense that I don’t assist her in her assignments as other parents do.  I should ensure that I have mentored her to think critically about her personal goals and challenges; by this, I will help her brainstorm about what she needs and achieve her target.

Implementation

When I offer her choices, the choices are more likely to increase self-determination and intrinsic motivation when presented with other facilitating conditions: provide a rationale of unappealing choices acknowledge the negative feeling. And also, ensure that she has the best choice to raise her self-esteem more so help her do ger assignment bearing in mind that she is ahead of others simply because she did the assignment by herself. By this, she will be motivated, and if yes, she will not have scored well in the assignment. In the main project, she will get her actual grade and might even be ahead of others. My daughter can engage in several higher-order processes for controlling lower-order cognitive, motivational, and effective thoughts. These higher-order processes primarily consist of self-appraisal and self-management, and feelings: they get involved in self-realization as agents in the learning process. She might be in the ego that school students learn the role that thinking plays in their behaviors and feelings (Nurdyansyah 3). I can model this by showing that it isn’t necessary to be a victim of negative feelings.

When we effectively complete tasks on our own, our self-esteem rises. When children feel confident about themselves, they can tolerate errors and defeats with grace and charm. A child with a strong sense of self-worth will make a bad decision, assess it calmly, reconsider the scenario, and make a different decision. In this case, I will advise her on the best way to ensure that her project is completely different from other her colleagues; this will boost her morale to do her research independently, which will bring up positive impact mores o a good overall grade (Araiza-Alba Paola 4).

Conclusion

By encouraging her to do the project on her own will enable her to gain proper skills. She will grow knowing how to do her assignment without my assistance and be ahead of her colleagues. According to the project, she will learn that self-esteem grows when we successfully do things by ourselves, leading to making good and proper decisions.
